第六章和第七章 我没有写很多笔记。

Chapter 6

主要就是觉得ScarScarlett太有趣了，说她被Spoil了，其实也不算是。她妈妈可是很严格的，而且Scarlett一直想成为母亲那样的人。可是她的性格更像爸爸一些吧？加上家里没有男孩子，从小也是被爸爸当成男孩子养了。

在她眼里，战争不算是是正事儿，每次当男人们谈论战争的时候，她的想法就是“Didn't men ever think about anything that really mattered?”   

她是一直活在自己的想象中啊。想象着Ashley是喜欢她的，想象着他要带她去私奔，娶Melanie是因为不得不娶，而不是因为喜欢。每次看对她的心里描写，凡是关于Ashley的，我都想笑。凭什么就一定认为Ashley是喜欢自己？ 以现代人的观点来看，Scarlett和Ashley的水平差太多了，基本上也不会有共同语言吧。。。每次都是Scarlett自己在那想。 这样倔强的一个女孩子，估计得不到的永远都是最好的。其他人对她表示好感，她也不拒绝，和男人调情，但是就不表明心意，总觉得自己应该就是中心，自己最漂亮。

当Melanie和Ashley讨论Mr.Thackeray和Mr.Dickens 。 Scarlett觉得女人不应该和男人讨论这些。而是应该夸男人，凡事要问男人的想法，就应该装作弱小什么都不懂的样子。可是Ashley也许就是喜欢Melanie这点，毕竟Ashley看了很多书，曾经去欧洲Grand Tour过，相同的爱好才能走到一起去。

后面他们提到Borgias家族的时候，Scarlett因为不知道这是什么家族，连喜欢她的Charles都觉得有点shame了。这侧面也看出来了当时女性的地位。

Ashley的话我确实很对。"Love isn't enough to make a successful marriage when two people are as different as we are. You would want all of a man, Scarlett, his body, his heart, his soul, his thoughts. And if you did not have them, you would be miserable. And I couldn't give you all of me. I couldn't give all of me to anyone. And I would not want all of your mind and your soul. And you would be hurt, and then you would come to hate me--how bitterly! You would hate the books I read and the music I loved, because they took me away from you even for a moment.  And I--perhaps I--""She is like me, part of my blood, and we understand each other.

Borgias家族：

was an Italo-Spanish noble family, which rose to prominence during the Italian Renaissance. They were from Valencia, the surname being a toponymic from Borja, then in the Crown of Aragon, in Spain. 

The Borgias became prominent in ecclesiastical and political affairs in the 15th and 16th centuries, producing two popes: Alfons de Borja, who ruled as Pope Callixtus II during 1455 -  1458, and Rodrigo Lanzol Borgia, as Pope Alexander VI, during 1492 - 1503. 

Especially during the region of Alexander VI, they were suspected of many crimes, including adultery, incest, simony, theft, bribery, and murder (especially murder by arsenic poisoning). Because of their grasping for power, they made enemies of the Medici, the Sforza, and the Dominican friar Savonarola, among others. They were also patrons of the arts who contributed to the Renaissance. 

Chapter 7

Charles Hamilton太可怜， spent his wedding night in an armchair in the corner，两个月后就再战争中死去。。。而且本以为可以在战争中赢得荣誉，最后却是因为肺炎，接着起麻疹而死去，without ever having gotten any closer to the Yankees.
